RRI volunteers have been looking at our year end numbers of adoptions for our Happy Tails.  Of course we still have December ‘09, but thus far we have found permanent, loving, forever homes for 44 dogs and puppies, 4 cats and kittens, and of course, not to be forgotten, three (3) pot-bellied piggies (no easy task !!!!)

Our numbers are  lower than in years past since Dana Spence-Venters, who is our main placement person, has not been able to place much this year compared to previous years since caring for an elderly parent since April…..so numbers are somewhat lower than usual. But we are happy to have found forever homes for and placed at least 51 animals so far in 2009!
