Tazzy, a beloved animal companion of one of our closest friends, Max, died last night. Max says, for “14 years I was blessed to have him as my bedpartner. I wish everyone could know such a perfect love. You could see God in his eyes and love in his soul.”
Tazzy had heart failure, and his human friend was there for him until the end. Tazzy finally died of heart failure last night in his best friend’s loving arms. Chris says, Max “has been a steady emotional support, willing board member, and financial supporter of the Rescue ever since we have known each other. One could not have a more loyal friend.” And I know Max, Tazzy’s human companion, would say the same about his loving four legged friend and companion. Rest in peace, Tazzy. You are so loved.
Dottie is one of four little pups that were rescued from a kill shelter on their last day. Then they all came down with Parvo. One died and the other three survived (thanks to Chris’ daily care and treatment). This is the little girl, “Dottie” and she is very sweet, housebroken, spayed, and has all her shots. Pointer mix, young female, really sweet, and house-trained. Very active but loves to learn. If interested call Dana at 405-414-5651. She would love a new home for Christmas!!!
TUX, short for Tuxedo, was a stray who was found asleep on a friend’s porch. No one claimed Tux, so we took him in the Rescue. He is a Border Collie mix and very mild mannered and very sweet. He is neutered, has his shots and is heartworm negative and is waiting for a good forever home.
This is Valero. So named for the service station parking lot where he was rescued by a caring person. Kevin came out the door and there sat “Valero” looking up at him and asking for help. Kevin rescued the small, starving kitten and brought him to Real Rescue. After lots of good food, good medical care, and plenty of love, Mr Valero has now found his forever home with a wonderful nurse who loves him very much. We are so happy for the little guy with the tough start in life !!!! Thanks Kevin !!!
