Members of the Real Rescue Board met today, at the Rescue, and finalized the plans to procede for the FIRST NEW INSULATED KENNEL BUILDING. After a slight delay, we are back on schedule and will meet with our contractor tomorrow Nov. 23 at the Rescue. We are so grateful to many wonderful supporters, especially this generous supporter, for her on-going financial and emotional support. She is a great lover of animals (and people), a sincere and honest friend. We now also have many new fence panels, dog houses, and rolls of fencing for temporary kennels while the building is going up. We did not realize the amazing group of friends, family, supporters that we have accumulated over the years. When we asked for help to get our building up before the cold weather really comes, they responded in a manner that still has us standing in amazement. Our love and thanks to every one of you…..We will keep everyone posted and announce our grand Public Opening when it is a bit more imminent.

This is Valero. So named for the service station parking lot where he was rescued by a caring person. Kevin came out the door and there sat “Valero” looking up at him and asking for help. Kevin rescued the small, starving kitten and brought him to Real Rescue. After lots of good food, good medical care, and plenty of love, Mr Valero has now found his forever home with a wonderful nurse who loves him very much. We are so happy for the little guy with the tough start in life !!!! Thanks Kevin !!!
Fella… got adopted this weekend and is now one of our Happy Tails : )
